Finding Your Eskie

I’m penciling in a possible breeding with Piper this Summer. Mother Nature and timing will play a big role. I’m dedicated to Growing our Breed and Growing our Sport.

Standard Eskie puppies are rare down here in the south. There are a few mini breeders in Texas. That said, it’s well worth a long road trip to find the right new family member.

Happy to help your search for your next American Eskimo.

Questions Any Breeder would want to know:

  • What part of the country are you located?
  • Are you looking male or female or based on temperament?
  • Are you looking for a Standard or Miniature Eskie?
  • Lifestyle background: Children, other pets, yard, time at home, travel,  ..
  • Do you plan or interested in doing any performance sports? Agility, Nose Work, Fast Cat, Rally/ Obedience?
  • Are you interested in Showing conformation?
  • Are you interested in breeding?

Research your Breeder

Please do your research on your potential breeder. I’ve talked with many that where mislead, lost money and heartbroken.

  • Any breeder will be happy to send you all test results from the Sire and Dam.
  • They will be happy to send you UKC and AKC pedigrees.
  • They should be able to live video with you so you can see the living conditions of the puppies. (and to confirm more than pictures)
  • Responsible breeders want (demand) their puppies back if things don’t work out. It happens for a variety of reasons.
  • Ask about what they do for socialization from Day 1 until they leave.  I’m a big believer in the Puppy Culture program and want my puppies to continue learning and developing with the same positive training https://shoppuppyculture.com/products/essentials-for-puppy-owners
