We love the American Eskimo Dog and strive to contribute to the preservation and Growth of the breed. Breeding is a lot of work, and of course, a lot of fun. The testing prior to and during pregnancy is expensive, but is critical for the very best outcomes. Females will have an ultrasound at around 4 weeks gestation to confirm pregnancy (and get a good guess at the number of puppies). They later will have an x-ray about 3-5 days before delivery to confirm the number of puppies to be delivered.
Puppy Culture
Testing and registering puppies as well as providing vaccinations, early neurological stimulation and desensitization is all part of what we consider standard practice.
Your puppy will be raised using the “Puppy Culture” approach that include ENS/ESI. They will have several exams and their first set of vaccinations before going home.
Potential Families are Encouraged to take the Puppy Culture course: With Open Arms and a Level Head. The cost of the program will be credited towards your puppy.

AKC & UKC Registration
Your puppy will also be AKC and UKC dually registered. Pedigrees of both Dam and Sire available on request.
Your puppy will be microchipped using AKC United for his or her safety if they ever become separated from you.

Heath Testing
We ensure that our sires and dams are health tested as per the recommendations of the American Eskimo Dog Club of America. This includes: DM, PRA, and OFA
The Entire litter will be DNA screened for DM and PRA at about 4 weeks.
The litter will have had several exams and their first set of vaccinations before going home. We use Josey Ranch Pet Hospital.

Part of Our Forever Family
While we will love the little puppies beyond imagination, it is only the joy in your face when you meet your new best friend, that will make parting with them at around 12-14 weeks bearable for us.
If you ever decide that you cannot keep your puppy (or dog) for any reason, we Require that you return the dog to our care so that we can make sure they transition well.
